Organize workflow and assign schedules (personnel, equipment, materials, and supplies) in compliance with the production schedule
Achieve established volume, quality, waste, time-in-process and delivery standards
Capture production reports per machine and review delivery of finished product according to quantities, sequences, and specifications
Evaluate, record, recommend, and initiate actions, such as promotions and/or disciplinary action for the staff
Ensure compliance with the safety and hygiene regulations, the correct and safe operation of machinery, and ensure tidiness, cleanliness, and functionality of their work areas
Report unsafe conditions in a timely manner
Participate as a leader in improvement projects
Be an agent of change, and take initiative to make positive changes in efficiency
Desired Skills
Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role.
Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools
Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and 5S concepts
