StaffEx is currently looking for an inside sales representative for a leading industrial rigging company. The company specializes in overhead lifting solutions, fall protection and general contractor supplies. We are looking for someone with strong customer service and time management skills. The suitable candidate will be detail oriented and self-motivated with some technical understanding. This position will be full-time, 1st shift, and temp-to-hire. Partner with management to drive the Company s strategic vision. Serve as the customer s advocate by responding to inbound inquiries, exceeding expectations and provid ing excellent customer service. Collaborate with rigging shop, general fabrication and manufacturing to ensure Operational & Customer Service Excellence.
Respond to internal and external customers and territory manager(s) requests in real time for price quotations, order placement, adjustments, and cancellations.
Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure proper support and provide a positive customer experience
Prepare quotes, order entry and resolve issues utilizing the SX.E system
Serve as a liaison with territory manager(s), purchasing, rigging shop, general fabrication and manufacturing to expedite orders and meet delivery dates
Communicate with the purchasing department to order or expedite products
Use the quote process to communicate with territory manager(s), service center leader and Chief Sales Officer to ensure proper pricing for customers
Coordinate delivery times with rigging shop and Service Center Leader to achieve customer satisfaction
Work with vendors to obtain information regarding pricing and specifications
Provide administrative support such as deposits, OROB report, cash reports
Ensure inbound and outbound freight is added to quotes and tickets when applicable
Communicate inventory levels with service center leader to ensure low product levels are known
Assist in receiving products in SX.E when assigned
Provide support to the Service Center Leader and other team members as needed to assist in the smooth operation of the service center
Keep desk, office area and showroom clean and organized
Follow all processes and complete quality forms as required
Take on responsibility of opening and closing service center if and when the Service Center Leader is not available to do so
File daily paperwork
Clean office area and bathroom in showroom as needed
Other duties as assigned
- Minimum of High School diploma or GED.
- At least 2 years of experience in industrial sales or service
- Basic knowledge of reading English, writing and basic math.
- Must be willing to work at least 40 hours per week.
- Must be able to solve adaptive challenges. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Must be able to demonstrate great team behavior and must be willing to promote an effective team-oriented environment.
- Must be organized, efficient, and self-motivated.
- Excellent attendance a must.
- Ability to pass a drug screen.
- Ability to pass a background check.
