Assigned Work Location: County Center Hours: As assigned based on needs and availability, with availability to work before and after business hours, and on weekends Illustrative job duties:
Assist Outreach Manager at County Center or the Elections Service Center
Provide voter registration instructions and informational material at offsite outreach events (must have reliable transportation)
Answer questions and share voting and elections information with the public
Refrain from any comments or discussion concerning a voter, a voter's party preference, a candidate, or issue, while representing the office of the Supervisor of Elections
Other duties as required
Requirements:
Computer skills, including Microsoft Office products
Ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a team
Ability to communicate effectively and represent the office in public venues
Ability to remain nonpartisan while representing the office of the Supervisor of Elections
Ability to lift 30 lbs.
Possession of a valid and current FL Driver License with no more than seven points
