- Read and comply with customer and/or company drawings
- Set up and prepare machines for production
- Help coordinate work activities within the department to ensure highest possible productivity and quality
- Help facilitate the flow of materials, components and paperwork among and within the department to fulfill production schedules
- Provide assistance as needed in the Brake department and all other areas of manufacturing
- Follow job schedule as assigned
- Expedite orders as directed
- Provide competent training for new or transferred employees as needed
- Perform related preventive maintenance on equipment and / or facility when appropriate
- Monday - Friday 7:00AM - 3:30PM
- Pay Rate: $17-20/hr *depending on experience*
- Must be quality-minded and have strong attention to detail
- Must possess ability to follow quality and safety standards
- Must be able to stand for eight hour shift
- Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push and pull up to fifty pounds
- Tool experience helpful
- Inspection of parts
- Ability to read blueprints
- Experience with using mechanical tools
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must pass a 5- panel drug test
