Janitorial Maintenance Technician Job Responsibilities:
  • Pick up trash and debris around the entire property (parking lots, transport areas, entrances, and fence lines)
  • Treat oil, gas, or other spills as needed
  • Clean and prep auction lanes before and after sales (bay doors, fans, oil dry, etc.)
  • Clean floors and maintain restrooms (stock supplies, address cleanliness)
  • Monitor restrooms, office, and auction areas during sale days
  • Refill water barrels as needed
  • Empty trash and haul to dumpsters (lanes, cafeteria, restaurant)
  • Report any issues to the supervisor

What will You Need for the Janitorial Maintenance Technician Position?
  • Valid FL Driver’s License
  • Must be able to work outdoors (sun, rain, heat, cold) for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 30lbs multiple times per day
  • Must be okay working in an environment where wildlife (e.g., raccoons, snakes, etc.) may occasionally be present on the property
  • Pass 5-panel drug screen
  • Pass 7 year background check (no felonies in 7 years; absolutely NO THEFT)
