Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Inventory & Purchasing Coordinator to join our dynamic supply chain team. This pivotal role involves managing procurement processes, overseeing inventory levels, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to ensure seamless operations. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of procurement management, inventory control, and ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle EBS. Your expertise will contribute significantly to optimizing supply chain efficiency, reducing costs, and supporting manufacturing workflows. Responsibilities
  • Operate and manage inventory in Fishbowl Inventory Management System
  • Create and organize parts and product records according to company standards
  • Monitor stock levels and maintain accurate reorder points and order-up-to levels
  • Generate and submit purchase orders based on inventory needs and sales data
  • Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships; negotiate pricing and terms
  • Handle inventory receiving, inspect shipments, and resolve delivery discrepancies quickly
  • Coordinate with third-party shipping providers when necessary
  • Maintain up-to-date records of purchases, vendors, inventory receipts, and discrepancies
  • Work closely with warehouse and sales departments to ensure proper inventory flow
  • Be proficient in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams)
  • Deliver excellent customer service when interacting with vendors and internal teams
  • Learn and adapt quickly to new systems and processes
  • Spanish/English bilingual ability is a strong plus

Skills
  • Proven experience with ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle EBS for procurement and inventory management.
  • Strong understanding of procurement management principles including sourcing, contract negotiation, and vendor management.
  • Knowledge of supply chain processes encompassing logistics, manufacturing support, and inventory control.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to establish mutually beneficial supplier agreements.
  • Familiarity with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to optimize inventory levels.
  • Ability to analyze pricing strategies and develop cost-saving initiatives.
  • Effective communication skills for engaging with suppliers, internal teams, and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational abilities to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience in contracts management including drafting, reviewing, and renewal processes.
  • Knowledge of logistics operations related to transportation, customs procedures, and distribution channels. This role is integral to maintaining a resilient supply chain that supports our manufacturing operations while fostering sustainable supplier partnerships. Desired Qualifications:
  • Prior experience working with Fishbowl Inventory or a similar inventory system
  • 2+ years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, or inventory management
  • Strong computer skills, including Excel and data entry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with restaurant, janitorial, or industrial supply industry is a plus

Position Requirements:
  • Must pass a 10 panel Drug test
  • Must Pass a Background Check
  • Have a valid Fl, US drivers License.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
