StaffEx is looking for an IT Systems Project Manager for the Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections
Position: IT Systems Project Manager
Industry: Elections Office
Location: Tampa, FL 33619
Hours: Monday - Friday 8AM- to 5PM (with the availability to work earlier, later and weekends during busy season)
Pay Rate: $30/hr

IT Systems Project Manager Job Responsibilities:
  • Direct and coordinate activities concerned with the implementation of a project.
  • Manage project execution to ensure adherence to plan, schedule and scope. Identify, track, monitor and communicate project-related tasks, issues, scope changes, variances and contingencies that may arise during the project implementation.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation
  • Collaborate with department director to formulate and implement procedures, goals and objectives.
  • Prepare or assist in the preparation of purchase requisitions, submitting requests for purchases, and reconciling outstanding invoices.
  • Provide Junior level System Administration functions in support of project execution
  • Perform other related duties as required.

What will you need as an IT Systems Project Manager?
  • 4 years direct supervisory/management experience or a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year degree granting college or university.
  • Preferred experience as a System Administrator or Network Manager
  • Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) Preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and solve problems involving several variables or unique situations.
  • Ability to manage the details of projects, track activities and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Microsoft Server products.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Solid decision-making, planning and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Possession of a valid and current FL Driver License with no more than six points
