Controller Responsibilities:
Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports necessary to evaluate departmental and individual performance for purposes of incentive compensation plans
Directs, performs and coordinates all accounting activities of the Company
Maintain internal controls, cash management
Responsible for providing timely and informative financial and operating reports and analysis to the CEO
Must have sufficient judgment and perspective regarding the operations of the Company in order to help guide the Company's dynamic performance
Responsible for banking, accounts payable, payroll processing, and expense policy and controls
Responsible for billing and collections, including credit management
Works with the Managing Director to manage many aspects of the employment process and coordination of benefits as they relate to payroll
Prepares budgets and cash flow projections
Oversees legal and risk management issues, including employment laws, business and all other forms of insurance, workers compensation, and business licensing
Responsible for the accurate reporting and payment of Corporate, Payroll and Sales Taxes
What will you need in this Controller position?
Solid knowledge of and experience with financial accounting and information systems, accounting principles, internal controls
Knowledge of and experience with financial reporting and analysis, including operations analysis, cash flow forecasting, and budgeting
Demonstrable integrity and professionalism
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
BA/BS in Accounting or 7 + years of related experience
