Community Outreach Ambassador Responsibilities:
Engage with community members at various events, including schools, civic organizations, and public gatherings, to promote voter registration and participation.
Assist in staffing outreach events, ensuring to cover the event from beginning to end.
Provide information about the voting process, registration deadlines, and election dates.
Protect the confidentiality of registration, Vote-by-Mail requests, ballots and/or any additional private information.
Assist with imaging, processing mail, and processing petitions.
Conduct supervised voting at assisted living facilities and nursing homes, by delivering ballots and helping voters update voter information.
What will you need as a Community Outreach Ambassador?
Be available to work during evenings and weekends, as outreach events often occur outside regular business hours.
Ability to interact professionally and courteously with the public and on a team.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Familiarity with office software such as Microsoft Office Suite.
Reliable transportation and the ability to work flexible hours are essential.
Always maintain a professional and nonpartisan manner.
A current valid Florida driver license is required.
