What are the Responsibilities of a CR Writer?
Conduct thorough vehicle inspections, including exterior, interior, engine, and frame
Accurately document damages, mileage, features, and overall condition using handheld devices or tablets
Take quality photographs of vehicles for reports
Identify frame or structural damage and mechanical issues
Use standardized codes and condition descriptions
Communicate with vehicle owners, lot staff, and supervisors as needed
Ensure reports are completed in a timely and accurate manner
Follow company safety and compliance procedures
