BookkeeperJob Responsibilities:
Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
Prepare and process customer invoices.
Maintain the general ledger and perform monthly bank reconciliations.
Record intercompany transactions and credit card activity in QuickBooks.
Prepare weekly payroll journal entries.
Initiate wire transfers and process Positive Pay files following check runs.
Prepare and file Sales and Use Tax returns.
Monitor cash flow and maintain accurate financial records.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, as needed.
Prepare and maintain shipping documentation in coordination with the General Manager.
Organize and maintain electronic and paper filing systems.
Manage office supplies, mailing, and shipping activities.
Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual requirements, regulatory standards, and GMA-SAFE audit procedures.
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintain accurate documentation.
Develop a working knowledge of company products, equipment, and manufacturing operations.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with company policies and applicable governmental regulations.
Provide general administrative support and perform other office duties as assigned.

What will you need as an Bookkeeper?
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred, but not required)
Two or more years of accounting, finance, or business administration experience preferred.
Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, work independently, and meet deadlines.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required.
