Position: Automation Assembly Technician II
Company: Automation Assembly Manufacturer
Location: Oldsmar, FL 34677
Hours: Monday – Thursday 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM; Friday 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM; availability to work Saturday on occasion (This is rare!)
We’re looking for a skilled Automation Assembly Technician II to join our production team and assemble custom, complex automated machinery. If you’re mechanically inclined, can read blueprints, and enjoy hands-on work, we want to hear from you!

Automation Assembly Technician II Responsibilities:
  • Assemble custom automation systems from blueprints, schematics, and work instructions
  • Mark, measure, cut, and modify components to ensure precise fit and function
  • Secure parts using bolts, screws, and other fasteners
  • Operate and test machinery after assembly to ensure functionality and performance
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues, identify root causes, and provide effective solutions
  • Ensure final assembly meets design specifications and quality standards
  • Travel may be required for installations and on-site customer support
What will you need as a Automation Assembly Technician II?
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 2-5 years experience in manufacturing technologies as an Automation Assembly Technician or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
  • Must be familiar with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and robotic systems and safety protocols
  • Solid mechanical troubleshooting skills, including knowledge of motors, drives, sensors, and control circuits
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings and schematics
  • Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, drill presses, saws, and measuring instruments
  • Welding experience is a plus but not required
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand, walk, and kneel as needed
  • Ability to pass a 7 year criminal background check
  • Ability to pass a 5-panel drug screening
