Automation Assembly Technician II Responsibilities:
Assemble custom automation systems from blueprints, schematics, and work instructions
Mark, measure, cut, and modify components to ensure precise fit and function
Secure parts using bolts, screws, and other fasteners
Operate and test machinery after assembly to ensure functionality and performance
Troubleshoot mechanical issues, identify root causes, and provide effective solutions
Ensure final assembly meets design specifications and quality standards
Travel may be required for installations and on-site customer support
What will you need as a Automation Assembly Technician II?
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of 2-5 years experience in manufacturing technologies as an Automation Assembly Technician or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
Must be familiar with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and robotic systems and safety protocols
Solid mechanical troubleshooting skills, including knowledge of motors, drives, sensors, and control circuits
Proficient in reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings and schematics
Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, drill presses, saws, and measuring instruments
Welding experience is a plus but not required
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand, walk, and kneel as needed
Ability to pass a 7 year criminal background check
