Position: Customer Service/Voter Services Specialist

Pay Rate: $17/hr.

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm

Customer Service/Voter Services Specialist Job Responsibilities:
  • Processes voter record changes and updates
  • Responds to voter inquiries via phone, email, and face to face
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner
  • Keep records of all conversations in our call center database in a comprehensible way
  • Other duties as required

What will you need as a Customer Service/Voter Services Specialist?
  • 2 years direct customer services/call center experience or an Associate’s Degree from an accredited two-year degree granting college or university
  • Working knowledge of general office practices and procedures
  • Ability to use a computer and adapt to software programs
  • Ability to type efficiently with attention to detail when entering data
  • Ability to speak, read and write English effectively
  • Ability to multitask between various job duties
  • Available to work extended hours, including weekends and overtime when necessary
  • Ability to sit for an extended period of time
  • Ability to work in a team environment towards a common goal
  • Customer service experience
  • Graduation from High School or possession of a GED certificate
  • Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus
